Teaching & language

Digital business fixer
I've spent rather a long time learning how businesses, people, language and technology work.
I've taught English and German, worked with people from different countries and cultures, and learned how much clearer things become when someone can explain them properly.
Translation and interpreting added another layer: understanding what someone means, not simply what they've said — and finding the right way to carry that meaning across.
I studied business and digital marketing, built websites, worked with businesses and learned how strategy, communication and technology fit together.
I've worked with digital tools, AI, content, websites and the increasingly complicated collection of things businesses are expected to make work.
Somewhere along the way, all those apparently unrelated skills turned out to be rather useful.
When something isn't working, I look at the whole picture, work out what's actually going on, and fix what needs fixing.
Then I fix what needs fixing and turn it back on.
It might be a website, a process, a customer journey, a piece of communication, a digital presence, technology or AI.
I don't always know what the answer will be when I start. That's rather the point.
CherryOnTop has never meant luxury for luxury's sake.
To me, it means that little something that makes a good thing better, clearer, more useful, more enjoyable or simply more you.
Take what is already there.
Understand it.
Improve it.
Add the cherry on top.
Tell me what's going on. I'll have a look, work out what's actually needed, and we'll take it from there.
